All calving cows are at risk of milk fever
Every dairy cow is at risk of milk fever, many suffer from some degree of hypocalcaemia at calving.1 Studies show that up to 50% of cows in a modern dairy herd are affected by subclinical hypocalcaemia at calving. No clinical signs can be detected but negative effects on health and milk production can be significant.
